Elounda SA Hotels and Resorts, being one of the top culinary destinations in the whole of Greece with its numerous top-class restaurants and bars, has recognised the importance of gastronomy as an ambassador of Greek Tourism throughout the world and has established a close collaboration with the Collection Montreux Switzerland Hotels & Resorts in order to stage two festivals for Greek and Cretan cuisine at their Royal Plaza Montreux & Spa (14-27 March) and Eden Palace au Lac (28 March- 10 April).
The Greek team is led by Chef Antonis Petrelis of the Elounda Mare hotel, Relais & Chateaux, and will take over the kitchens of these wonderful hotels in order to take their clientele on a culinary journey through the rugged landscapes and seascapes of Crete, using materials and essenses directly from the earth and waters of this blessed island. At the same time, taking advantage of these gastronomic happenings over a period of one month, the three cosmopolitan Elounda SA Hotels and Resorts will present their services to the patrons of the Café Bellagio and Chez Gaston restaurants.
Knowing the quality and fame of the Elounda restaurants, as well as the breadth of their wine collections from all corners of Crete and Greece, it is more than certain that whoever attends this festival of the Greek culinary arts on the shores of Lac Léman will be enchanted for life with Greek cuisine and the Elounda art of well-being.
